RideRemedy’s goal is to save time and cost and to reduce CO2 emissions one ride at a time.

Sure you can ride to your hotel/conference on a shuttle bus but you’ll have to abide by its schedule. How many other hotels do you really want to stop at before finally arriving at yours?

At any moment, there are many people within shouting distance of you who are good candidates for sharing a ride. Some would love to take a cab for the ease, speed and convenience they provide but don’t because of the expense. Others would consider car pooling but don’t have an easy way to connect with people like yourself. Some would be happy to provide or share a ride simply because it’s good for the environment. RideRemedy enables you to make these connections.

Find a RideRemedy sharer by simply entering your departure point (airport, hotel, conference center, home, etc) and your destination (airport, hotel, conference center, school, etc.). Indicate the day and time you wish to depart and RideRemedy will match your criteria to other sharer postings. RideRemedy’s messaging tool will enable you to contact that sharer to make the necessary arrangements.

Post your itinerary before you leave on your trip and make arrangements with people in advance or wait until you are at your departure point and find a RideRemedy subscriber Just-in-Time. Either way, you will save $$$’s and reduce your carbon footprint (CF). You will likely save time and perhaps make a new friend in the process.

RideRemedy is efficient, user friendly and privacy conscious. RideRemedy uses an in-app messaging system to facilitate communication between ride sharers. At no time does it reveal email addresses or phone numbers. In addition, messages sent via RideRemedy do not trigger carrier text messaging fees.

Pricing and Savings
To facilitate the growth of the RideRemedy community, RideRemedy is initially being offered at no charge for a three-month introductory period. Please, take full advantage of this incentive to give it a try. Share rides, take part in spreading the word, and contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions. After your free three-month introductory period ends, your subscription will only begin when you find a matching ride and initiate the in-app messaging process. The annual subscription price for sharing rides through RideRemedy is $4.99. Arrange to share only one ride through RideRemedy and you’ll likely save more than three times your annual subscription cost. Additional ride shares will cost you nothing for the balance of the year resulting in even greater savings.
